Lab Coordinator - AMP - Lewisville TX Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay range: $22.43 per hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills training experience education and where applicable certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The coordinator is responsible for providing general administrative support to the pathology and specialty pathology department(s) and will serve as the main contract for client communication and interaction for the department.
Responsibilities
- Field phone calls from clients and route appropriately. Understand urgency and efficiency required for client communication
- Fax-e-mail correspondence to/from clients
- Develop distribute and correlate findings from customer surveys
- Problem solves client service issues and ensures resolution has been reached
- Schedules client visits as appropriate regarding workflow and performance improvement opportunities
- Prepare and maintain Lab contact lists for clients and sales team
- Scan final reports to the Billing department
- Prepare and distribute consult cases. Monitor and track outside consults for completion and quality assurance.
- Prepare and distribute reports to pathologist
- File and maintain local slides and case packets
- Act as a resource for client related test requisitioning and use of web portal
- Prepare and distribute literature to clients regarding services offered
- Coordinate information between the pathology or specialty pathology department Sales and referral locations
- Provides sales and service recovery resource to Sales team to include scheduling lunch meeting and travel arrangements for pathologist.
Qualifications
Required Work Experience:
One year experience interfacing with clients
Preferred Work Experience:
- One year experience in a client services position environment preferred
- Transcription experience preferred
Skills:
Strong customer service skills
Education
- Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Associates degree or High Diploma/GED with 5 years Client Service experience (Required)
