Description
- Develop implement and oversee a global compliance program across all current and future entities.
- Build scalable governance frameworks policies and controls to support multi-jurisdictional operations.
- Advise executive leadership and the Board on regulatory developments compliance risks and mitigation strategies.
- Own global sanctions compliance export control requirements and screening processes.
- Lead and manage a team of compliance specialists and paralegals ensuring high-quality delivery across workflows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Engineering People Partnerships and Sales.
- Oversee sanctions screening tools export classification processes and end-user/end-use due diligence.
- Ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions including North America Europe the Middle East and APAC.
- Maintain adherence to global data protection laws (e.g. GDPR CCPA EU Data Act).
- Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations such as FAR ESG DORA AI and cybersecurity standards.
- Monitor and interpret global regulatory changes adapting compliance programs proactively.
- Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Design and oversee internal controls across financial operational data and security domains.
- Manage incident response processes including investigations reporting and corrective actions.
- Oversee Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) processes for customers partners and suppliers.
- Develop and deliver global compliance training programs in partnership with the People team.
- Foster a culture of integrity and compliance across all regions and teams.
- Implement and monitor training dashboards to track completion effectiveness and gaps.
- Manage compliance training tools including selection implementation and optimization.
- Support audits and regulatory inspections (e.g. ISO 27001 SOC 2 internal audits).
- Standardize compliance documentation and processes across international entities.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency of compliance operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of DDQs through strong internal coordination and validation. and nbsp;
Requirements
- Masters degree in Law Business Governance Risk and amp; Compliance or a related field.
- 812 years of progressive experience in compliance and risk management.
- Background in SaaS DaaS subscription-based businesses or commodities/trading environments is highly preferred.
- Proven experience operating across multiple international jurisdictions in a global organization.
- Demonstrated success in building or scaling a global compliance program.
- Strong expertise in risk management frameworks corporate governance sanctions export controls and privacy regulations.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity and ESG compliance requirements.
- Experience engaging with regulators auditors and enterprise customers globally.
- Excellent analytical reporting and policy drafting skills.
