What You Will Do:

The Lead Developer T3 will be a hands-on technical contributor responsible for designing developing and maintaining AI-enabled backend services and integrations. This role focuses on building scalable MCP-based services robust APIs and secure integrations that support AI agents and enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design develop test and maintain MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to enable standardized communication between AI models tools and enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain RESTful and/or event-driven APIs to support AI agents backend services and external integrations.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers product owners and architects to translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement backend services using best practices for performance security reliability and scalability.
• Contribute to agent-based and generative AI solutions supporting orchestration tool invocation and contextual data access.
• Write clean maintainable and well-documented code following enterprise development standards.
• Use GitHub for source control pull requests code reviews and CI/CD workflows.
• Participate in design reviews sprint planning and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot debug and resolve issues across development and production environments.
• Stay current with evolving AI API and MCP ecosystem trends and apply relevant advancements where appropriate.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on software development experience in backend or full-stack roles.
• 3 years of experience in API development including design implementation versioning and integration.
• Hands-on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) concepts or strong experience building extensible server-side integration frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Python Java or C#.
• Experience developing secure scalable services using modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Practical experience using GitHub for:
  • Source control and branching strategies
  • Pull requests and peer code reviews
  • CI/CD pipeline integration
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g. OAuth 2.0 token-based security).
• Experience working in agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong problem-solving analytical and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Prior experience implementing or extending MCP servers in production environments.
• Experience working with agentic AI platforms orchestration frameworks or LLM-based applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure AWS or GCP including managed services for APIs and backend workloads.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and messaging systems.
• Experience working with observability tools (logging monitoring tracing).
• Prior experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
