Job Summary
- Oversee the full supply chain lifecycle including demand forecasting procurement production planning inventory optimization warehousing and distribution.
- Lead cross-functional teams across supply chain manufacturing logistics and quality assurance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that enhance efficiency reduce lead times and improve service levels.
- Manage supplier relationships negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with quality safety and regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data analytics KPIs and process optimization techniques.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g. FDA GMP ISO) and internal quality standards across all operational processes.
- Implement and manage ERP and WMS systems to improve visibility accuracy and scalability of supply chain operations.
- Lead sustainability and ethical sourcing initiatives aligned with corporate ESG goals.
- Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks including disruptions raw material volatility and geopolitical factors.
- Collaborate with R&D marketing and sales teams to support new product launches and seasonal demand fluctuations.
- Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior leadership including cost capacity and efficiency metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Operations Engineering Business Administration or a related field; MBA or advanced certification (e.g. CSCP CPIM) is a plus.
- 25 years of progressive experience in supply chain or operations management within the cosmetics personal care or FMCG industry.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing complex supply chain operations in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
- Strong expertise in demand planning inventory management logistics and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and data-driven decision-making tools.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in cosmetics manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
- Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives and ethical sourcing in supply chains.
