Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Railway Electrification Engineer with deep expertise in catenary systems tramway traction power HV/MV distribution and integrated railway electrical systems. The ideal candidate has a proven track record leading major rail electrification projects managing multidisciplinary interfaces and delivering safe compliant highperformance electrical infrastructure.
This role involves leadership in design construction oversight system integration and commissioning of electrified transit projects across Canada.
Your role
- Lead engineering activities for catenary (OCS/OLC) traction substations and HV/MV/LV distribution systems.
- Manage multidisciplinary technical interfaces (civil works track telecom mechanical systems).
- Oversee detailed design development system integration and technical reviews.
- Supervise construction installation methods phasing site testing and commissioning.
- Develop technical specifications tender documents and regulatory compliance requirements.
About you
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer ( license required or eligible.
- Minimum 1015 years experience in railway electrification or traction power systems.
- Experience with largescale transit projects in design construction testing and commissioning.
- Expertise in AC/DC catenary systems traction substations and HV/MV/LV networks.
- Fluency in French and English.
