Director Portfolio Management

Honeywell Smart Energy is seeking a seasoned and collaborative Portfolio management leader to lead our Advanced Utility Software portfolio. This includes driving a diverse portfolio of Advanced Utility Software AI and Analytics leveraging the Honeywell Forge platform to bring these solutions to their next stage of growth specifically our GridScan GridFin applications as well as our Utility Data Hub.

As a Director of Portfolio Management Advanced Utility Software focused on Portfolio Growth here at Honeywell you will play a crucial role in driving growth and profitability by aligning our offerings with growth industries and end segments. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand our portfolio capture market opportunities in high-growth sectors and lead a team of offering (product managers) in our healthcare portfolio. Your strong leadership skills strategic thinking and market insights will be essential in driving the success of our business.

In this role you will have a significant impact on our strategic direction revenue growth customer acquisition and market share expansion both organically and through partnerships / M&A.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Strategy and Development:

• Develop and execute the overall strategy for the companys product portfolio encompassing both existing products and new offerings.
• Conduct market analysis customer segmentation and competitive assessments to identify market trends opportunities and portfolio gaps.
• Define and prioritize portfolio investments based on strategic fit market potential and financial viability.

Product Lifecycle Management:

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of products within the portfolio from concept development through to end-of-life decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D engineering marketing sales operations) to define product roadmaps feature enhancements and product differentiation strategies.
• Monitor product performance metrics including revenue growth profitability and market share and make data-driven decisions to optimize portfolio performance.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:

• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and senior management on portfolio strategy performance and market dynamics.
• Foster collaboration and alignment across departments to drive portfolio growth and profitability.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders external partners and key customers to drive co-development opportunities and enhance product offerings.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within the portfolio.
• Stay abreast of industry trends technological advancements and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
• Champion a culture of innovation and excellence within the offering management team encouraging creativity collaboration and continuous learning.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in offering/product management or related roles
• Proven track record of driving portfolio growth and capturing market opportunities
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
