Job Summary
Role: Lead Agentic AI Engineer
Location: Charlotte NC(3 Days hybrid)
Duration: Contract Opportunity

Responsibilities:
- Design develop and optimize robust Java-based backend services for AI-driven applications.
- Integrate and work with Generative AI models and APIs to enable intelligent features such as text generation summarization and other NLP tasks.
- Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to implement AI/ML models into production environments.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless integration across platforms.
- Ensure system scalability performance and security in AI-related backend solutions.
- Write clean maintainable and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
- Conduct code reviews debugging and troubleshooting to maintain high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in AI ML and backend technologies to continually enhance platform capabilities.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in Java development (Java 8) associated frameworks (Spring Boot Hibernate etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI models APIs or frameworks (such as GPT OpenAI Hugging Face etc.).
- Understanding of NLP concepts and AI/ML workflows.
- Experience integrating AI models into backend systems and deploying them at scale.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) for deploying AI solutions.
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Good understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
