Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Are you a passionate and driven Science Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of scientists Local Education is currently working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Chelmsford to recruit a permanent Science Teacher to join their strong and supportive department from September 2025.
About the Role:
You will be delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of KS5 for the right candidate. The school promotes an innovative curriculum and encourages staff development through a collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver dynamic and inclusive Science lessons
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of a wide range of learners
Track and assess student progress providing targeted support
Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment opportunities
Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic excellence
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
A specialism in any Science discipline (Biology Chemistry or Physics)
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
A commitment to continuous professional development
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
