Local Education is proud to partner with a thriving and well-regarded secondary school in Brentwood currently seeking an energetic committed and inspiring PE Teacher to join their team on a full-time permanent basis from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic PE department dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles teamwork and personal development through sport and physical education.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
Promote engagement in both curriculum and extra-curricular sport
Prepare students for practical and theoretical PE assessments and qualifications
Organise and lead after-school clubs fixtures and school sports events
Encourage student participation inclusion and personal fitness goals
Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and departmental initiatives
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent ECTs are encouraged to apply
Experience or strong interest in delivering both practical and theoretical PE
Passion for sport physical activity and student wellbeing
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
