As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Monitor in Philadelphia PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an education location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support students staff and visitors through strong customer service and this role you will be part of a team that is agile reliable and innovative with a people-first culture built on integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $18.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an educational location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings common areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points check credentials when required and assist with visitor entry procedures in alignment with site policies and school-related schedules or events.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with occupants and visitors providing directions and reporting maintenance lighting and/or property issues that may impact daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
