English Specialist Alternative Provision School
Location: Essex

Are you an experienced and empathetic English Specialist passionate about helping young people reach their potential
Were supporting a fantastic Alternative Provision (AP) school in Essex that is looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join their team. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students who thrive in a more personalised and supportive learning environment.
About the Role:
Planning and delivering engaging English lessons to small groups or 1:1
Supporting students who face barriers to learning in mainstream settings
Creating a calm inclusive and safe learning environment
Working closely with pastoral and SEN staff to support individual needs
Encouraging progress in literacy and communication through creative and tailored approaches
Ideal Candidate:
QTS QTLS or relevant teaching experience in SEN/alternative settings
Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
A nurturing resilient and adaptable teaching style
Ability to build strong trusting relationships with students
