People Relations Specialist (Fixed-Term Contract to December 2026)

Telford Head Office Full-time

At Lyreco were committed to creating a fair respectful and high-performing workplace. Were looking for an experienced People Relations Specialist to join our People & Culture team on a fixed-term basis supporting the business through a high volume of employee relations casework.

This is a fast-paced hands-on role where your expertise will help managers navigate complex situations with confidence consistency and care.

What youll do

  • Manage a high-volume caseload of employee relations matters (disciplinary grievance performance attendance)
  • Lead thorough and compliant investigations ensuring clear documentation and best practice
  • Provide practical commercially focused advice to managers in line with UK & ROI employment law
  • Identify trends risks and insights from casework to support better decision-making
  • Collaborate with People Business Partners to drive effective outcomes
  • Support continuous improvement of ER policies processes and ways of working

What were looking for

  • Proven experience managing complex ER casework in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK & ROI employment law
  • Confident advising and influencing managers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Resilient discreet and professional when handling sensitive matters

Desirable:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a commercial environment
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Workday)
