POSITION SUMMARY
TheCommunications Manager supportsthe development and implementation ofBedrockscommunication strategyaligned with business goals. Responsibilities includedraftingcommunications plans messaging talking pointspress releases mediaadvisoriesandpitchesto informengageand secureearnedmedia coverage. TheManageris proactive focused and organized with the ability to drivemedia relations campaigns andothercommunicationsinitiativesincluding but not limited to media monitoring and reportingaward submissionsspeaking engagementsPR eventplanningand execution and more.
ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS
Developand managecommunications plansforBedrock projectsinitiativesand milestones.
Createeditand distribute impactful written content including press releasespitches and narratives that further define and build upon Bedrocks mission and vision; develop mediakitmaterialsthatare aligned with andincorporate approved messaging.
Conduct media outreachto secure ongoing positiveearned press coverage.
Cultivate media relationships to ensureconsistentengagementwith relevant localregionaland national media.
Developmessagingtalking points and/ormediastatements as needed.
Lead planningexecutionand promotion of PR events; provide on-site management at PR events or company engagements asrequired.
Work collaboratively across teams toidentifyandalignprojectprioritiesand strategies.
Compile reporting and provide analysis ofBedrock coveragebased on key communication metrics;monitorand distribute Bedrockrelated media coverage.
Generate award submissions.
Vet and coordinate speaking engagements.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations MarketingJournalismor related field or equivalent educationtrainingand experience
5-10years ofcommunications orpublic relations experienceideallywithin real estateordevelopment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Desire to workboth independently and collaboratively

WORK ENVIORMENT
Bedrock is an in-person five-day-a-week workplace. All team members are expected to work onsite Monday through Friday during standard business hours unless otherwise specified by their role or designated shift.
Some roles may have flexibility to work remotely on Fridays based on the nature of the work and business needs. This flexibility is granted at the discretion of the Company and may be adjusted at any time.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use; occasional movement between buildings; ability to lift up to 15 lbs. Occasionally.
