Your Role in the Build:
Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll across multiple entities
Ensure compliance with California labor laws prevailing wage and certified payroll
Maintain employee records including time tracking benefits and payroll adjustments
Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll liabilities
Assist with monthly financial statements journal entries and GL reconciliations
Support budgeting forecasting and ad-hoc financial reporting
Track revenues costs and intercompany transactions across multiple entities
Support POS-to-GL reconciliations and cash controls
Assist with audit preparation and financial documentation requests
Ensure compliance with California labor laws prevailing wage and certified payroll
Maintain employee records including time tracking benefits and payroll adjustments

Details:
What You Bring to the Build (Financial):
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
35 years of accounting and/or payroll experience
Experience with construction payroll (prevailing wage / certified payroll) preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and payroll fundamentals
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables lookups data analysis)
Experience with Sage 300 CRE QuickBooks and Yardi Breeze
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
35 years of accounting and/or payroll experience
Experience with construction payroll (prevailing wage / certified payroll) preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and payroll fundamentals
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables lookups data analysis)
Experience with Sage 300 CRE QuickBooks and Yardi Breeze
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
