Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a SR Product Engineer located in Guadalajara North Campus.
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager the role will be responsible for receiving evaluating cleaning and customizing all technical information / documentation from the customer related to their product derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Technology Introduction team ( NTI) to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.
What a typical day looks like:
- Handle product transfer and new product set up.
- Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.
- Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield.
- Solve product related problems and perform failure evaluation related to product issues.
- Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues
- Suggest modification to work instructions material or product changes to ensure excellent quality of products.
- Customers Bill of Material (BOM) evaluation and structure definition for production
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Strong knowledge in electronics/ assembly /SCP process and strong insight for latest production/product technology trend.
- Fluent English skill for both oral and written.
- Experience driving organizations with more than 30 engineers and technicians in sustaining & NPI environment.
- Strong ability to handle different Models.
- Experience creating BOMs and component lists.
- Design drawing and updating of new product parts; ability to read and interpret dimensions tolerances schematics and engineering drawings.
