Shift: Rotating Day & Evening Shifts (5x8-Hour)
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support a high-acuity Adult Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in trauma and multi-specialty surgical procedures and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Shift Details:
- Mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts including:
- 07:00 15:30
- 11:00 19:30
- 15:00 23:30
- 07:00 19:30
- 11:00 23:30
- Evening shift coverage required
- No block scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Perform scrub duties across a variety of surgical specialties
- Ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to OR protocols
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required
- Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience (within last 4 years)
- Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center or equivalent acute care facility
- Strong scrub experience required
- Experience across multiple specialties including:
- Trauma
- Orthopedics
- General Surgery
- ENT
- Vascular
- GYN
- Neurosurgery (preferred)
- Bariatric / GU (preferred)
