Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join a fast-paced radiology department. The ideal candidate will be experienced in diagnostic imaging and proficient in CT scanning including contrast administration while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Job Details:
- Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (12:00 PM 8:00 PM)
- Alternate Schedule Options:
- Monday Friday (12:00 PM 8:00 PM)
- Thursday Saturday (11:00 AM 12:00 AM)
- Start Date: 04/27/2026
- Duration: 9 Weeks (1199 / 59-day assignment)
- Block Scheduling: Not available
- Orientation:
- 8 Hours Non-Billable
- 8 Hours @ 70% Billable
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures following physician orders and protocols
- Administer contrast media safely and monitor patient responses
- Operate CT scanners (Apex or similar systems) efficiently
- Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (required)
- Active New York State Radiography License (required)
- Certification to inject contrast media (NYS) (required)
- ARRT Certification in Radiography & CT (required)
- Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience
- Maintain continuing education credits per ARRT requirements
- Proficiency with Apex scanner or similar CT systems (required)
