This role plays a pivotal part in aligning local finance transformation efforts with broader enterprise-wide transformation. By standardizing and automating existing processes e.g. expense analysis it enhances cross-divisional efficiency and ensures consistency in data-driven decision-making. The roles contribution is amplified by its ability to bridge technical expertise with strategic financial insightmaking it a key enabler of enterprise-wide transformation.
Support Transformation-Related Initiatives
- Develop and deploy automation workflows using Alteryx Power BI Excel VBA and other transformation tools to streamline business processes as well as enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Engaging new users (e.g. Health) and aligning projects with organizational goals
- Improve Alteryx workflow accessibility and manage Alteryx administration (SOW renewal license management SOP creation procurement)
Analyse Financial Data and Develop Reporting Tools
- Support in-depth analysis of financial data to uncover trends variances and opportunities.
- Develop dynamic financial models and interactive dashboards using Power BI and Excel to support strategic decision-making. Ensure reports are user-friendly visually engaging and aligned with management information needs.
Provide Training and Support on Automation Tools
- Support the adoption of automation tools by conducting hands-on training sessions creating user guides setting up SOPs and offering ongoing technical support.
- Empower colleagues to build their own workflows and explore advanced features in Alteryx Power BI and Excel VBA. Promote best practices and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
In-house Finance Operations and Expense consultation
- Develop framework for operationalizing an internal consulting support function to improve and/or support Finance Operations and Expense task including adhoc projects
- Review and improve existing operational process flow for better efficiency and mitigate gaps; prioritizing on TAT efficiency
