Acts as the senior technical expert for complex high-risk claims (minor and pre-authorization) making approved decisions within delegated authority using medical and policy expertise.Second line escalation from Senior Claims Assessors and issue resolutions
Handle enquiries and complaints from customers agents (including telephone and emails where necessary) and internal staffs.
Regularly updates SOPs
Identify any emerging medical utilization and cost -leakage risks
Work closely with business to provide technical claims training supporting onboarding certification and refresher training
Provide support to pre-authorisation and major cases if needed.
