Roles & Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end billing process including invoice generation distribution and follow-up to ensure timely and accurate billing.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and coordinate with collections to resolve outstanding balances.
Review and approve billing adjustments credits and write-offs in accordance with company policies.
Collaborate with Sales Operations and Customer Service teams to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies promptly.
Ensure compliance with all applicable billing regulations internal controls and financial policies.
Design and implement billing procedures to improve efficiency reduce errors and streamline workflows.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual billing reports for senior management review.
Lead month-end and year-end close activities related to billing and revenue recognition.
Develop and track KPIs to measure billing performance and identify areas for improvement.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing accurate billing records and supporting documentation.
Requirements:
Masters degree in Accounting/Finance with 9 years of experience in Invoicing
Experience using NetSuite is mandatory
Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Inclination towards questioning and improving existing processes and ensuring long-term standardization
Ability to prioritize - we are consistently working on multiple projects at any given time so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment
Individuals must be able to operate independently and must have a go-getter attitude
Must have handled a team of at least 2 people for at least 1 year.
