Ballys Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states a golf course in New York a horse racetrack in Colorado and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle UK further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Ballys Interactive International formerly Gamesys Group a leading global interactive gaming operator Bally Bet a first-in-class sports betting platform and Bally Casino a growing iCasino platform.

With 10600 employees the Companys casino operations include approximately 15300 slot machines 580 table games and 3800 hotel rooms. Ballys also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.

Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (Queen) the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states one of which will be an additional state that expands Ballys jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees and operations that currently include approximately 2400 slot machines 50 table games and 150 hotel rooms to the Ballys portfolio. Ballys will also become the successor of Queens significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).

The Role:

Hotel Front Desk Supervisor -

This positionis responsible forSupervisingtheday-to-dayactivities of the Hotel Operations. Prioritizinggood communicationwith your coworkers to help make everyonefeel a part ofall one team.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for creating a fun and productive work environment.

    • Verifies daily paperwork.
    • Ensures that customer problems/complaints are handled ina timely effective courteous manner.
    • Trains new employees andtheabilitytopreparework schedules.
    • Responsible for the motivation continual training and empowerment of employees.
    • Ensures that staff behavior and appearancecomply withestablished policy.
    • Processes discrepancy reports ratevariationand credit reports.
    • Responsible for the efficient operation of the rooming process including arrangements such as the pre-blocking pre-registration and final check-in of Casino Group Sales and VIP guests based upon time of arrival special requests and play-based value.
    • Responsible for posting charges and settling folios for individuals and groups as well as resolving due-outs and completing express check-outs.
    • Coordinates the ordering and reconciliation of package coupons.
    • Distributes handles redeems and assigns fordistributioncoupons that are considered in the calculation of gross revenue.
    • Announces evacuations contactingappropriate executivesinemergenciesand evacuation situations.
    • Partners with Housekeeping Front Services and Casino Marketing to ensuretimelyguest check-in and maximum occupancy.
    • Ensures cleanliness organization and safe condition of work areas.
    • Maintains knowledge ofhotels community andspecial eventsto accurately provide guests with needed information.
    • Administers superior customer service to all guests.
    • Completesspecial assignments as requested.
    • AnyOtherRequiredDuties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma orequivalentPreferred
  • Must project a professional and positive image.
  • Proficiencyin Opera PMS preferred.
  • Two years front office or related guest service experience required.
  • High energy level.
  • Proficiencyin typing.
  • Excellent non-verbal communication skills good posture able toestablisheye contact and positive body language.
  • Must project a professional and positive image.
  • Ability to handle and carry out instructions.
  • Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity tact and professionalism.
  • Must be able to maintain composure under stress in a fast pace work environment.

License Requirements:

Physical/Mental Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position the employeeis regularly required totalk or hear. The employeefrequentlyis required touse hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls. The employeeis occasionally required tostand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop kneel crouch or employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
