Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced CVAD & Azure Engineer to design implement and support enterprise-level virtual desktop and cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) Microsoft Azure and associated technologies ensuring high availability performance and security across virtual environments.

Key Responsibilities

. Manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments including delivery controllers StoreFront Citrix Gateway and Citrix Cloud integrations.
. Configure and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and hybrid integrations with Citrix Cloud or on-prem environments.
. Manage Azure Infrastructure Services including VMs networking storage and identity management (Entra ID / Azure AD).
. Perform patching upgrades and performance tuning for Citrix and Azure components.
. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Citrix Azure and supporting infrastructure.
. Automate operational tasks using PowerShell Azure Automation or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
. Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to organizational policies and best practices.
. Monitor system health and capacity using Citrix Director Azure Monitor and other observability tools.
. Support migrations from on-prem Citrix environments to Citrix Cloud or Azure Virtual Desktop.
. Prepare and maintain technical documentation SOPs and architectural diagrams.


Required Skills & Experience

. 5 years of hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) or Citrix Cloud.
. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services compute networking identity and automation.
. Experience managing Active Directory Group Policy
. Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
. Understanding of XenServer Profile Management and Application Layering.
. Experience with Windows Server OS RDS roles and Microsoft 365 integration.
. Integrate Microsoft Defender for Cloud Sentinel and Azure Monitor.
. Automate deployment using ARM templates Bicep or Terraform.
. Integrate Citrix with Active Directory Azure AD and Azure Cloud.
. Familiarity with ITIL processes incident/change management and enterprise support practices.


Preferred Qualifications

. Certifications such as: Citrix Certified Associate / Professional (CCAV / CCPV) Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Azure Solutions Architect Expert
. Knowledge of network security and load balancing
. Exposure to Cloud cost optimization and monitoring best practices.
