Performance Test Engineer – Azure Load Testing JMeter

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute performance test strategies plans and scripts.

• Design workload models and performance scenarios for enterprise applications.

• Create and maintain performance scripts using Azure Load Testing Apache JMeter Stress Stimulus (where applicable)

• Execute load stress endurance spike and scalability testing.

• Monitor application API database and infrastructure performance metrics.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering teams for optimization.

• Prepare detailed performance test reports with analysis observations and recommendations.

• Integrate performance execution into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

• Support capacity planning and performance governance initiatives.

• Log and track performance defects/issues in Azure DevOps.

• Participate in release readiness and production risk assessments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Must have 6 to 8 years of experience in performance testing.

• Strong experience in Performance Engineering Load & Stress Testing Scalability Testing Performance Analysis & Tuning

• Experience working with enterprise-scale applications.

• Hands-on expertise in Azure Load Testing Apache JMeter Performance monitoring tools Azure DevOps (ADO)

• Understanding of API Middleware and distributed system performance.

• Expertise in Web technologies REST APIs SQL queries and database performance Cloud performance testing concepts

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Good communication and stakeholder reporting skills.

• Ability to work in complex enterprise delivery environments.

• Experience in D365 ecosystem performance testing.

• Experience in cloud-native performance testing on Azure.

• Exposure to AI-enabled applications and Copilot ecosystem.

Qualifications :

Educational qualification:

• BE BTech BCA BSc (IT) MCA MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)

• 6 - 8 years of experience
