Position Summary:
As a Service Advisor you will own our customers experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings inventory needs technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others. We welcome individuals who are new to the automotive industry but with previous roles in customer service retail sales restaurant industry or hospitality.
We are looking for a Service Advisor/ Assistant Service Manager to work in our Service Department. Employees work a rotating schedule whileour department is open. Our Service Department hours are as follows:
Monday through Friday: 7am to 6pm
Saturday: 7am to 12:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly in the Drive Lane and deliver a professional high-energy first impression that sets the tone for the entire service experience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers clearly communicating service recommendations timelines and costs while building trust and credibility.
- Actively identify and recommend needed maintenance and repair services using a consultative sales approach to educate customers and drive revenue.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals including labor parts and additional service upsells.
- Take full ownership of each customers experience from write-up through delivery ensuring satisfaction and maximizing retention.
- Provide concierge-level support for all customer inquiries (phone and in-person) ensuring no opportunity is missed to assist or sell services.
- Ensure technician time is fully utilized by effectively selling recommended services and managing repair orders to maximize productivity.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of customer concerns service recommendations and approvals.
- Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction reinforce value and generate repeat business.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in automotive service sales or a high-performance sales environment.
- Strong closing skills with the ability to confidently present recommendations and overcome objections.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build long-term relationships and drive repeat business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional consultative approach.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude strong work ethic and competitive drive to achieve and exceed goals.
- Professional well-groomed appearance.
- Clean driving record.
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
