This role is per diem (as-needed)

Position Purpose

Under the supervision of the Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) School Program Director primary responsibilities include teaching Cardiovascular Technology School classes.

What you will do

  • Teach Invasive Technology and Ultrasound courses assigned by the Program Director.
  • Be familiar with the goals of the program and be able to demonstrate the ability to develop an organized plan of instruction and evaluation.
  • Actively engage in retention activities including documented communication with both students and administration regarding attendance and progress.
  • Assist students with course registration and academic advice as requested by the Program Director.
  • Provide assistance in the planning development and maintenance of program curricula.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of an associates degree in health sciences is required bachelors degree is preferred
  • Licensure: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Licensure required for RCIS based lectures. Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Licensure required for Adult Cardiac Ultrasound lectures.
  • Certification: Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) Licensure required for Vascular Ultrasound lectures.
