As a Customs & Logistics Intern you will support a broad range of activities within the Logistics team. You will follow established processes and help ensure compliance with internal company procedures and external customs regulations.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Support the Logistics team in day-to-day operational tasks
Communicate with carriers customs agencies and business partners (by email and phone)
Handle the formal processing of outgoing shipments including preparation and verification of shipping documents
Complete missing information in customs documentation ensuring its accuracy and completeness
Support compliance of logistics processes with customs regulations and internal company procedures
Required Qualifications
University degree in Logistics or a related field or current student of part-time studies in a related area
English language skills enabling confident written and verbal communication
Basic knowledge of import and export customs procedures and INCOTERMS
Good time management accuracy and attention to detail when working with documents
Confident communication skills via email phone and MS Teams and willingness to cooperate with various stakeholders
Desired Characteristics
Availability for a 6-month internship
Willingness to learn and interest in logistics and customs procedures
Proactive attitude and readiness to take ownership of assigned tasks and suggest improvements
