HazTek is hiring an experienced Safety Specialist to support our growing commercial construction projects. If youre passionate about making an impact driving compliance and building a culture where every worker goes home safe we want you on our team.
- Oversee and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures across the job site
- Support and monitor electrical safety compliance including coordination with trades
- Conduct daily safety audits inspections and field observations
- Lead safety meetings and provide guidance on proper energy isolation practices
- Review and verify LOTO plans permits and documentation
- Work closely with contractors and site leadership to ensure safe execution of work
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions as needed
Qualifications
- OSHA 30 (Construction) required
- Strong experience with LOTO programs in construction or industrial environments
- Familiarity with NFPA 70E and electrical safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with multiple trades
- Additional certifications (OSHA 510 NFPA 70E training etc.) are a plus
- Excellent verbal and written skills
