Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurse with strong orthopedic and trauma surgical experience. The ideal candidate will be confident managing post-operative orthopedic and trauma patients in an acute care setting and capable of delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

Unit: Medical/Surgical Ortho/Trauma Surgical
Work Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Scheduling: As per unit needs (No RTO allowed)
Floating: As required

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and trauma surgical patients
Monitor post-operative patients including joint replacements fractures and trauma cases
Administer medications and manage pain control effectively
Assist with mobility rehabilitation and recovery processes
Monitor for complications and escalate care as needed
Collaborate with physicians surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience with Ortho/Trauma focus
Experience in similar size acute care facility
Strong clinical skills in post-surgical orthopedic and trauma care
Active RN License (state-specific)
Required certifications (as per facility standards e.g. BLS)
