Job Summary
Job Title: Network Administrator Advanced
Location: Cayce SC (Onsite Travel Required)
Duration: 12 Months
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support enterprise network and identity services initiatives. This role involves working on infrastructure modernization efforts including SD-WAN PKI and secure authentication systems ensuring high availability performance and security across the organizations IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support enterprise network and identity initiatives including SD-WAN deployment PKI lifecycle management and secure authentication services
- Monitor troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and authentication issues
- Support Windows-based systems and mobile device connectivity (Apple devices)
- Manage full lifecycle of network and identity infrastructure
- Perform installations configurations upgrades and deployments of network systems
- Maintain and update network documentation (diagrams designs configurations)
- Monitor ticketing systems and resolve assigned issues in a timely manner
- Assist in testing and validation of network and identity solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and stakeholders
- Provide technical support (phone email desk-side) to users
- Follow change management processes and provide regular status updates
- Participate in statewide travel to support remote site deployments and troubleshooting
- Perform physical tasks including lifting equipment (up to 40 lbs) and working on ladders
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree in a relevant field OR equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure and LAN administration
- 3 years of experience installing configuring and troubleshooting switches and wireless access points
- 3 years of experience with SD-WAN PKI and secure authentication services
- 3 years of experience troubleshooting network connectivity on Windows and mobile devices
- Experience creating and maintaining network documentation and diagrams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CompTIA Cisco or Microsoft (active or inactive)
- Cisco Networking Academy or similar training/bootcamp
