Role - Senior Learning Analyst (Technical & Data-Driven Learning)
Location - Bangalore India
Role Summary
The Senior Learning Analyst (Technical & Data-Driven Learning) designs curates and manages high-quality learning experiences for digital/technical audiences while also applying strong analytical capabilities to evaluate learning effectiveness and drive adoption. The role blends instructional design and experience design with foundational IT fluency Agile program management and data analysis to deliver scalable learning solutions aligned to business and transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Execute learning initiatives in alignment with a learning strategy learning needs assessment and roadmap.
Partner with stakeholders across a matrixed organization to identify capability gaps define requirements and align success measures.
Design and develop engaging learning experiences using instructional design adult learning visual design and experience design principles.
Translate platform/tool capabilities into clear actionable learning materials (guides demos short videos annotated screenshots and microlearning).
Apply Agile project management practices to manage workstreams dependencies and timelines with SMEs and cross-functional partners.
Evaluate program effectiveness using data feedback and learner insights; define and monitor KPIs and recommend improvements.
Collect clean and analyze learning/adoption data from multiple sources to identify trends bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
Create dashboards and data visualizations to communicate insights and drive data-informed decisions.
Maintain strong data quality practices (validation integrity checks) and collaborate with data owners/engineers on governance improvements.
Support rollout and adoption of new learning platforms and innovative solutions (including AI-enabled learning approaches) and manage vendor contributions where needed.
Technical Domains & Tools (Examples)
Digital workplace & collaboration: Office 365 Teams SharePoint; collaboration tools such as Miro Smartsheet Confluence (or equivalents).
Automation & analytics: Power Automate and Power BI (preferred); ability to build and explain dashboards/metrics.
Data & analysis: SQL and/or Python/R for data manipulation and analysis; comfort working with large datasets.
Learning platforms: LMS/LXP tools (e.g. SuccessFactors EdCast LinkedIn Learning Pluralsight) and learning ecosystem integration concepts.
Authoring & media: Articulate 360 Captivate Vyond Synthesia (or similar) plus ability to create quick demo videos and screencasts.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Education HR Organizational Development Business IT or related field (advanced degree preferred).
3 years of experience in learning & development digital learning instructional design or related roles.
3 years of relevant progressive experience applying data analysis to measure effectiveness or performance (learning analytics strongly preferred).
Business English fluency; strong writing skills for concise technical instructions and the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience working in large complex highly cross-functional/global organizations; proven stakeholder and vendor management capability.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving; familiarity with statistical concepts and techniques.
Technical experience with DD&Trelevant domains such as digital platforms foundational IT systems or emerging technologies (e.g. Agentic AI GenAI automation etc.).
Project/program management capability; Agile delivery experience preferred; PMP/PgMP is a plus.
