About the Role
The Partner Recruiting Specialist is an integral part of Lathams Partner Recruiting & Integration team. This role will be responsible for coordinating activities and processes in support of lateral partner hiring and integration for the firms offices as directed by department leadership while supporting the timely and effective execution of all phases of the lateral partner recruitment process for the office including interview coordination progress tracking feedback collection and operational steps across the hiring process. This role will be located in either our New Yorkor Washington D.C. office.Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating clear timely and effective communication with lateral partner candidates regarding interview scheduling logistics and processrelated information to support a positive candidate experience
- Coordinating the processing of submissions and introductions of lateral partner candidates received directly or through recruiting agencies ensuring accuracy completeness and adherence to established procedures
- Preparing and compiling candidate materials including interview memoranda and related diligence to support stakeholders in advance of interviews with attention to accuracy consistency and sensitivity
- Maintaining accurate and timely updates in the applicant tracking system and ensuring proper recordkeeping and document management throughout each recruiting process
- Providing operational support for lateral partner recruiting processes involving candidates for other Latham offices including scheduling logistics and feedback collection as requested
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive confidential privileged financial and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- Exhibit the ability to adapt to shifting priorities timelines and business needs
And have:
- A bachelors degree or equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) years of recruiting or related law firm experience preferably
