Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have previous travel nursing experience strong surgical skills and prior Level 1 trauma exposure. Burn unit experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care for trauma and surgical patients
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure proper sterile technique and safety protocols
- Collaborate with surgical teams to support complex procedures
- Administer medications and manage patient care before during and after surgery
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records in compliance with standards
- Participate in call rotations weekend shifts and holiday coverage
Key Requirements:
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Strong skills in surgical nursing and high rating on skills checklist
- BLS certification required
- Burn unit experience preferred
