Overview

Join our volunteer team as we visit festivals and other events throughout Derbyshire and Sheffield. Youll play an important role in providing advice and information to young people at these events ensuring 1625 Outreach can interact with as many young people as possible.

Responsibilities

1625 Outreach is no normal drug and alcohol service. It is an innovative and forward thinking project with a proven track record of effectively engaging young people and young adults.

Our ethos is centred around the principles of harm reduction. We provide non-judgmental fact-based information and advice surrounding drug and alcohol use and the associated risks.

We aim to give young people and young adults the knowledge and skills to make more informed choices to keep themselves and their peers aware safe and well when it comes to drugs/alcohol.

As a Festival and Events Volunteer with 1625 Outreach youll be required to volunteer for a minimum of 2 consecutive days per event undertaking a 6 hour shift each exchange for this youll receive the following:

Free access to the festival when not volunteering
Expenses paid for including travel food and camping equipment (if staying overnight)
