What you will be doing:
Strategic Partnership
- Build deep trusted relationships with your client groups getting trulyunder the skin of the businesswhilemaintainingalignment with the wider People strategy
- Act as a genuine business partner using data and insights to support leaders in makingrobust informed people decisions
- Interpret people metrics and engagement data toidentifytrendsrisksand opportunities
Employee Relations
- Providesoundtimelyand pragmatic HR adviceon policy process employmentlawand best practice
- Confidently lead on the full range of ER matters including:
- Disciplinary and grievance processes
- Redundancy and restructuring
- TUPE transfers and dismissals
People Projects & Initiatives
- Play acentral rolein delivering some of our most exciting People projects this year
- Lead on ourattraction and retention strategy helping us understand what makes OLIVER a place where great people want to stay and grow
- Drive the implementation of actions from ourengagement surveyin a way that is meaningfulvisibleand impactful
- Support the rollout of consistentHR operations and processesacross all areas of the business taking direction from the People Director
Recruitment
- Partner with our internal recruitment teams to ensure thehiring needs of the business are metefficiently and effectively
- Champion a recruitment experience that reflects our values and commitment todiversityequityand inclusion
What you need to be great in this role:
- Excellent ERexpertise you can run complex HR processes independently and with confidence
- Apragmatic solutions-focused mindset best fit over best practice where it matters
- Strongcommercial acumen you understand business drivers and how people practices enable growth
- Outstandingcommunication skills both written and verbal with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences
- A proven ability tobuild strong relationshipsat all levels whilstmaintainingprofessional boundaries
- Experience working withinternational territoriesand an appreciation of the complexities this brings
- A track recordofleading and developing junior HR colleagues
- Experience working within afast-paced professional environmentand the confidence to drive initiatives to a high standard
- CIPD qualifiedor equivalent experience preferred
