The Manager Middleware Platforms reporting into the Director Technical Architecture serves as the operational leader and technical owner of the enterprise integration and messaging platforms (e.g. Boomi Solace). The role oversees a team of middleware specialists and is accountable for platform lifecycle management roadmap execution integration/API governance and stewardship of the companys API estate. This position works closely with business units architecture security infrastructure product teams and clients to ensure the platform evolves to meet organizational needs while maintaining reliability security and scalability.

What You Will Do

  • Lead mentor and develop a high-performing group of middleware experts while managing capacity prioritization and clear performance and development expectations
  • Coordinate the delivery and operational support of integration and API solutions across business units and client environments. Encourage a culture focused on defect-free outcomes ensure incidents are resolved on time and SLAs are met and continually improve reusable patterns guidelines and support processes.
  • Own the full lifecycle of data exchange and communication platformsmanaging upgrades patching capacity planning performance optimization and documentationwhile ensuring enterprise standards for availability security compliance and scalability providing reporting dedicated to critical issues and partnering with vendors on customer concerns and longterm planning.
  • Lead integration and API governance by ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture managing the full API lifecycleincluding versioning documentation and usage reportingand ensuring all integrations comply with data privacy security regulatory and architectural requirements.
  • Partner with Architecture on solution design and platform evolution collaborate with Security Data Privacy Compliance Infrastructure and Application teams to ensure highquality endtoend delivery and engage with business units product teams and clients to understand needs manage expectations and provide clear reporting
  • Adhere to enterprise risk frameworks and controls by completing all required risk activities on time ensuring middleware platforms meet all security risk and audit requirements and maintaining zero highrisk findings through timely remediation of any identified gaps.

What Were Looking For

  • University degree preferably in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5 years experience with integration technologies.
  • 3 years of people management experience.
  • Experience with enterprise integration technologies and shared-service delivery.
  • 3 years in an iPaaS ETL or ESB environment (e.g. Boomi Solace).
  • Solid understanding of APIs (REST SOAP) and eventdriven architecture.
  • Experience managing platform lifecycle activities and integration governance.
  • Experience working with multiple business units and managing vendor relationships.
  • Experience driving compliance with technical standards.

Nice to Have:

  • Financial services experience.
  • Boomi or Solace certifications.

  • Strong understanding of cloud hybrid and onprem infrastructure models and enterprise architecture principles.
  • Solid knowledge of enterprise IT processes including change incident and problem management.
  • Strategic planning capability with the ability to influence and drive strategic direction.
  • Highly organized selfdirected and able to work effectively under pressure.
