Position Summary

BMS is making a commitment tobecomea world leader in cellular therapy. Cellular therapyrepresentsa significant advancement in the treatment of hematologic unique capabilities building from over20yearsof involvement in cell therapy and strategic collaborations.

The Cell Therapy Account Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for achieving commercial success within the treatment sitesthrough excellence in account planning executionand collaboration with all stakeholders to provide a seamless and differentiated patient experience. The Cell Therapy Account Manager will serve as the main point of contact for the CAR T treatment sites andleadthe development of the site-specific account plans coordinating the deployment of resources tailored to meet thecustomerneeds.

For this positionthe companyseeksa highly engaged team player with strong entrepreneurial skills who canestablishour CAR T therapies to behighly successfulin the cellular therapy marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assessing cultivatingand managing customer relationships across a broad set of stakeholders within assigned accounts to ensure achievement of commercialobjectivesfor the launches in cellular therapy.

  • Responsible for the development of a customized site-specific accountplancoordinating the deployment of resources to meet thecustomerneeds and ensure a seamless and differentiated customer experience.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for designated accounts and collaborate with cross-functional partners to create a streamlined organized interface between account stakeholders and all field facing colleagues.

  • Navigate complex account environments and understand the needs/issues of account stakeholders at all levels and drive to solutions that address the needs.

  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with cross-functional partners to support the referral ofappropriate patientsto the treatment centers.

  • Maintain and continuously develop both disease and product specific knowledge.

  • Actively gains customer insights and providestimelyfeedback to cross-functional partners and Area Business Managerregardingaccountbusiness trends changes in the therapeutic landscape performance industry issues and business opportunities and risks.

  • Ensure compliance with all laws regulations and policies that govern the conduct of cell therapy activities.

  • This position requires the ability to drive within their assigned territory by automobile (and in some territories to travel by airplane).


Qualifications & ExperienceRequired:

  • 7 years of sales experience marketing and/or commercial experiencerequiredwith 5 years in Hematology/Oncology

  • Key account management strategy experience working in large complex accountsidentifyinginfluential stakeholdersand working with them to better serve patients

  • Customer service oriented quick responseshighly reliable excellent follow up

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with leadership and key cross-functional partners across the internal organizationin order toimplement key account strategies

  • High degree of technicalexpertiseand business acumen

  • Strong analytical consulting and business planning skills necessary toexecute onkey strategic imperatives

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including an effective presentation style to connect with diverse groups of customers

  • Thorough understanding of guidelines

  • Ability to work independently and travel as needed (up to 50%)

  • Valid drivers license

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent

Qualifications & ExperiencePreferred:

  • Experience in hospital sales academic and community setting preferred

  • Buy and bill reimbursement experience preferred

Compensation Overview:

Field - United States - US: $171360 - $207648

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job such as required skills where the job is performed the employees work schedule job-related knowledge and experience. Final individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

Paid Time Off

  • US Exempt Employees: flexible time off (unlimited with manager approval 11 paid national holidays (not applicable to employees in Phoenix AZ Puerto Rico or Rayzebio employees)

  • Phoenix AZ Puerto Rico and Rayzebio Exempt Non-Exempt Hourly Employees: 160 hours annual paid vacation for new hires with manager approval 11 national holidays and 3 optional holidays

Based on eligibility* additional time off for employees may include unlimited paid sick time up to 2 paid volunteer days per year summer hours flexibility leaves of absence for medical personal parental caregiver bereavement and military needs and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.
