The Accounting Intern supports the Accounting and Finance team with day-to-day transactional reporting and administrative activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to general accounting processes financial reporting and internal controls while developing practical skills in a professional business environment.- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing including invoice review data entry and filing
- Support payroll expense reports and reconciliations as assigned
- Help prepare and maintain journal entries schedules and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Organize and maintain financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies
- Support audits by gathering requested documentation and schedules
- Perform basic financial analysis and reporting using Excel or accounting software
- Collaborate with accounting and finance team members on special projects
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee information
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
