We have an immediate need for a Senior Manager to support our growing business with a focus on developing client accounts in the commercial transportation sector. This presents a unique opportunity for you to grow both personally and professionally as you contribute to our Purpose.

Job Requirements:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies identifying new clients networking managing sales pipelines improving sales team capabilities managing pricing and enhancing client engagements and results.

  • Auditing sales processes identifying bottlenecks and implementing strategies to improve conversion rates.

  • Building and managing long-term mutually beneficial relationships with clients.

  • Developing proposals sales pitches negotiating contracts and closing deals.

  • Review sales metrics to refine strategies and forecast ensuring goals are met.

  • You enjoy and can travel both in the U.S. and abroad to support fast-paced client engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and develop new business within the market with a focus on commercial transportation.

  • Present dss offerings to prospects and clients aimed at selling consulting and technology projects.

  • Lead the development and delivery of proposals and sales presentations.

  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to contract signing.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.

  • Discover opportunities to make our clients safer more productive and more sustainable.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

  • Manage call campaigns with external parties.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions that meet client needs.

  • Represent the firm at industry events conferences and networking functions.

  • Lead client engagements teams to deliver dss service offerings to clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in supply chain logistics engineering or a business-related field coupled with 10 years experience in management consulting with previous exposure to operations consulting.

  • You will have demonstrated the ability to sell complex operations consulting services at C-level ideally within the commercial transportation sector (for-hire private third party logistics transit companies etc.).

  • You will have a proven track record of achieving business growth and revenue targets.

  • An existing client portfolio or strong network of contacts within the industry and the ability to leverage contacts to drive business and generate new opportunities.

  • Youre a thought leader and can leverage your knowledge to identify themes trends and challenges within the sector and guide clients and create talking points.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Availability for regular travel within the U.S. and abroad.
