2026 21st Century Program Summer Family Liaison (Eastford Road School, Charlton Street School, West Street School and Southbridge Middle School 1 per site)

Position:Family Liaison

Reports to:Site Coordinator

Effective dates of Employment: July 6 2026 -August 6 2026

Monday- Thursday 7:45am-2:15pm

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited college with a minimum of an Associates Degree preferred
• Ability to read write speak understand and communicate in English and Spanish to perform the duties of this position
• Relate well to people of all ethnic groups
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
• Citizenship residency or Work VISA in the United States required

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily attendance records for the program. Contact parents/guardians regarding absences. Update DESE attendance spreadsheet daily.
• Establish and maintain a parent/guardian resource center in the 21st Century summer program
• Assist in interpretation of school and program policies regulations and/or activities to parents/guardians and students
• Translate materials that are frequently mailed to parents/guardians
• Provide information to parents/guardians about procedures and instructional programs
• Serve as the contact person for parents/guardians to call with questions about 21st Century activities and events
• Maintain confidentiality
• Seek ways to involve parents/guardians in their childs education
• Perform such other tasks as related to the goals and objectives of the School Improvement Plan and 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant Program
• Maintain district and program health and safety protocols from program start to end.

Salary: $30/hour
