JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective:Lead for the development and implementation of a robust high school MTSS program. Facilitate and support staff learning around the MTSS model tiered interventions awareness of early warning system indicators de-escalation strategies and a common vocabulary in working with students on grades attendance behavior and college-going aspirations. Support small student groups and advisory classes in facilitation and creation of lessons that support the MTSS program to be implemented across the school in supporting student academic and social/emotional growth. Applicant must have the ability to relate to and work with young adolescents and must be willing to work collaboratively with a school team. Extra duties may include providing counseling advising tutoring mentoring family involvement activities career education programs and activities post-secondary information workshops and college campus visits.Essential Job Functions:
