Job Description:
As a Service District Administrator you will:
Assist with hiring training and coaching
Assist in developing interpreting implementing and monitoring policies procedures and regulations
Act as a liaison with Medicaid providers families or stakeholders
Manage work schedules task assignments performance and leave requests
Direct monitor and evaluate the work of your team by providing indirect oversight of 50-70 Service Coordinators and approximately 1300 individuals receiving services
Assist with hiring training and coaching Service Coordination teammates
Plan organize and direct establishing program objectives strategies policies procedures and priorities
Develop and implement policies and procedures in response to changing program needs enhancing service delivery and program operations
Develop and implement quality enhancement policies at the District level evaluating performance against goals and identifying action plans for improvement
Consult with Administrator II for Service Coordination Operations and DDD Deputy Directors regarding service coordination needs and issues
Establish collaborative relationships with participants of waiver services and their guardians providers advocacy entities and community organizations to enhance the continuum of care
Other duties as assigned
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifictions: Bachelors degree in social work business administration public administration human development human services behavioral health law special education quality/project management or other closely related field AND two years of supervisory experience in developmental or intellectual disabilities program and services; OR a Masters degree in any of the above mentioned fields.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supervising and leading teammates facilitating and presenting in meetings and engaging in difficult conversations. Experience in Word Excel Outlook Nfocus and Therap. Knowledge of Centers for Medicaid and Medicare (CMS) and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waivers specifically the two DD HCBS Waivers the Aged and Disabled (AD) Waiver and the Traumatic Brian Injury (TBI) Waiver. Program knowledge of Targeted Case Management and Service Coordination responsibilities and functions.
Other: Possess a valid drivers license and have immediate access to a reliable vehicle. A state vehicle may be provided dependent upon office location.
