Location: Wilminton Delaware
Pay: Based on Experience
Duration: Temp-to-Hire Full Time
Position Overview
Our Client a specialty dental office in Wilmington DE is seeking a friendly professional and organized Dental Patient Coordinatorto join their team!
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in dental office administration dental terminology insurance knowledge and excellent communication skills. The pay rate for this position is highly competitive and will reflect the persons level of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phone calls respond to inquiries and manage appointment scheduling
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations
- Collect and process payments co-pays and balances
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
- Manage the flow of patients through the schedule efficiently
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Handle patient communication for treatment follow-ups and reminders
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office and waiting area
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5 years of dental front desk experience highly preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology procedures and insurance required
- Experience with dental software (e.g. Dentrix Open Dental Eaglesoft)
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
