What Youll Do (Day to Day Job Duties)

  • Operate and program laser etching machines (following in-house training) to mark parts to precise customer specifications.
  • Stage and kit post-manufactured components for laser marking and coordinate incoming/outgoing parts from outside processing.
  • Execute the full laser marking process including preparation marking inspection and documentation.
  • Interpret and follow detailed work instructions technical drawings sketches and internal processing sheets.
  • Perform visual inspections of parts before and after laser etching to identify non-conforming material.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including updates in Microsoft Excel and internal systems (e.g. GSS).
  • Support Certificate of Conformance (CoC) documentation and ensure proper recordkeeping.
  • Collaborate with Assembly and Quality Control teams to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean organized workstation in accordance with company Clean Desk Policy and daily housekeeping standards.

Your Impact (CORE Responsibilities)

  • Ensure all laser-marked products meet exact specifications recognizing this as a final customer-facing process step.
  • Take full ownership of assigned jobs delivering error-free work that meets strict quality and traceability requirements.
  • Support production flow by managing staging prioritization and coordination with internal and external partners.
  • Uphold quality standards by identifying and addressing defects before parts move to final stages.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support compliance and customer requirements.
  • Demonstrate reliability and adaptability in a fast-paced high-precision manufacturing environment.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to error-free performance.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and interpret technical documentation.
  • Basic computer proficiency including experience with Microsoft Excel and ability to learn internal systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand part orientation and handling of precision components.
  • Ability to perform visual inspections and identify non-conforming parts.
  • Strong accountability and ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives
