Job Summary

Position : Automation Project Manager

Automation Project Manager to join one of our largest pharmaceutical clients 5x/week onsite in Rensselaer NY. This individual will be joining the Automation team within the Engineering and Automation space helping with the management of 58 CAPAs assigned to the team. They will be expected to familiarize themselves with all projects active or otherwise work with necessary automation engineers and cross-functional teams to prioritize CAPAs by urgency in an effort to create a master schedule and assign roles. This individual will also be responsible for conducting risk and potential gap analysis once the schedule and assignments are completed and utilizing their technical knowledge to pre-identify any possible bottlenecks.

Must Haves

5 years of hands-on technical automation experience in manufacturing environments
2 or more years of project management experience supporting capital automation projects
Working knowledge of Rockwell Automation platforms FactoryTalk Batch and DeltaV
Experience building project schedules and dependencies using MS Project or similar tools
Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
Pharmaceutical or life sciences manufacturing experience
