Job Summary for Automation QA Engineer (Plano TX Onsite)
- Gather validate and prioritize business requirements by engaging stakeholders across departments.
- Analyze and document multiple business processes and application workflows.
- Develop execute and maintain manual and automated test plans test cases and test scripts using Selenium or similar automation tools.
- Conduct various types of testing including system testing integration testing regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot defects and support defect resolution processes.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and test cases for multiple applications.
- Translate business needs into development-ready user stories and detailed system specifications.
- Write JIRA stories based on business and development requirements.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and support Agile ceremonies (sprint planning backlog grooming retrospectives).
- Perform impact analysis and gap assessments to drive solution design and delivery.
- Identify opportunities to streamline QA processes and enhance product value.
- Lead product planning and strategy sessions and support requirement gathering and stakeholder engagement.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and support strategic recommendations.
- Create technical reports user manuals and process documentation.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in writing user/system stories.
- Collaborate effectively across technology enterprise architecture and business teams.
- Exhibit excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
