Offers Pricing and Revenue Managementis a team of air fares experts supporting airline and agency customers withinthe Customer Care organization. The team is looking for Business Analysts with the Global Distribution System and/or travel industry background.
Themain duties consist ofdelivering high quality support to Airlines and Agency customers with issues related to Pricing Shopping Taxes Currency Ancillaries including some revenue generator products such as Agency Retailer Agency Managed Commission Direct Fares Filing. The position is also intended toanalyzeand research on Agency Debit Memos and safeguard Sabre Fare Guarantee Policy.
Job duties and responsibilities:
providing specialized Pricing Shopping and Fares support to Sabre customers suppliers and partners
analysing mid to high complexity level air fares related issues in both real time and certification environments using diagnostics and database visualization tools todetermineand recommend corrective actions
highlighting priority of required system fixes depending onfinancial impactand systems usability levels
safeguarding Sabres Fare Guarantee Policy commitments by providingtimelyand thorough Agency Debit Memo research
supporting development and marketing staff byassistingwith functionality questions addressing testing issues training on new products and all delivery planning aspects for deployment of a service or product
problem tracking and escalations to other technical levels and teams
Requirements:
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
self-motivated able to work under minimal supervision
readiness to learn airline fares system
excellent English communication skills
excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
previoustravel industry experience preferred
basic understanding of Sabre APIs/ATPCOis a plus.
Knowledge of Sabre GDSis a plus.
