Per Diem Urology Vassar Brothers Medical Center Poughkeepsie NY (90 minutes north of NYC)
Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie New Yorkjust 90 minutes north of New York City is seeking a per diem Urologist to provide additional office and call coverage for a busy and growing group.
This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice.
Located on the banks of the scenic Hudson River Vassar Brothers Medical Center has a new 752000 square-foot eight-level inpatient pavilion with 263 private medical/surgical patient rooms and 30 critical care rooms. Vassar provides the leading acute and critical emergency care in the region including Level II Trauma Service and Interventional Neuroradiology. Vassar has established centers of excellence in cardiac services neurosciences cancer care and womens health. Vassar is consistently ranked as one of the strongest cardiac programs in the United States and one of the Top 100 Heart Hospitals by Modern HealthCare Magazine.
VBMC is part of Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations Danbury Hospital New Milford Hospital Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut and Northern Dutchess Hospital Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations including The Heart Center a leading provider of cardiology care and two urgent care offices.
