Registered Nurse (RN) OR / Med-Surg Per Diem
Location: Utica NY
Schedule: Per Diem (Flexible Shifts)
Pay Rate: $40 $45 per hour (negotiable)
NurseAmerica is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with OR or Med-Surg experience to support clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient pain management setting.
This role focuses on assisting with procedures patient care and coordination in a controlled clinic-based environment.
- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Assist physicians during outpatient procedures
- Monitor patients and document clinical information accurately
- Administer medications as required
- Educate patients on procedures recovery and follow-up care
- Ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols
- Active RN license in NY (or compact license if applicable)
- Experience in OR Med-Surg or procedural settings
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Experience with IVs or outpatient procedures preferred
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Outpatient clinic-based setting
- Predictable scheduled procedures
- No inpatient care overnight shifts ER or trauma
