Job Summary
Key Responsibilities Develop and customize Blue Planet Intelligent Automation workflows resource adapters (RAs) and service models. Integrate Blue Planet with OSS/BSS network elements and external systems using REST APIs YANG models and XML/JSON interfaces. Build and maintain Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and SDNbased automation solutions. Design and implement automation for service orchestration service assurance and inventory management. Perform endtoend testing of Blue Planet service models and troubleshoot orchestration issues. Collaborate with network engineers architects and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into automation workflows. Maintain documentation for service models integration points and workflows. Support deployments in lab staging and production environments. Required Skills & Experience Handson experience with Ciena Blue Planet (MCP Designer Orchestrator Inventory). Strong development skills in Python JavaScript or Java. Understanding of YANG modeling TOSCA and network modeling concepts. Experience with REST APIs JSON XML and microservices integration. Knowledge of IP/MPLS Optical Networks SONET/SDH DWDM or general telecom networking. Familiarity with Linux environments CI/CD pipelines and Git. Ability to troubleshoot complex network automation workflows. Additional Skills: 1. TM Forum ODA alignment 2. Cloud-native AWS 3. AI Ops / Self-healing automation
