Job Summary
For a Blue Prism / RPA Developer role responsibilities typically include:
Design develop configure and deploy automated workflows / bots using Blue Prism.
Build and maintain Blue Prism components: Processes Objects Work Queues etc.
Integrate Blue Prism automation with external systems (web-based apps desktop apps mainframes APIs databases Excel/Office tools etc.) depending on project requirements.
Work closely with business analysts / process owners / stakeholders to gather requirements do feasibility analysis identify automation opportunities and map out business processes.
Create and maintain documentation: Process Design Documents (PDD) Solution Design Documents (SDD) test scenarios and support UAT / production rollout.
Implement error/exception handling logging/audit mechanisms notification logic - to ensure compliance robustness reliability.
Provide support and maintenance for existing automations: troubleshoot monitor bots fix defects optimize performance handle changes.
Review code/designs of other developers enforce coding standards and best practices mentor juniors.
